On grid system for residential, commercial and solar farms

Solar PV system installed in Malaysia is eligible for FIT scheme (www.seda.gov.my). Owners may sell electricity to the utility (TNB) at certain special tariffs for a period of 21 years. All energy generated will be paid regardless if exported to the grid or consumed by the owners. At night or during low sun availability, owners will automatically be powered by the utility.

Solar PV system that we design composes the following components

  • Solar panels
    These panels are generally categorized as crystalline, thin film or hybrid PV panels. Solar panels convert sunlight into DC power via photovoltaic (PV) effect.
  • On Grid Inverters
    The DC power that is produced is converted into AC power and fed into the grid either before or after the revenue meter. Inverters will disconnect it if the main grid has failed as part of its international safety feature
  • Mounting Structures
    Mounting structures for the PV modules are usually made out of a variety of materials such as aluminium, stainless steel or galvanized metal depending on installation area, owner’s requirement and method of installation at site.
  • Balance of System
    The other parts that make up a solar PV system includes DC and AC cables, protection devices such as fuses, surge protector and isolator

Off grid systems for rural electrification and variety of applications

We would offer a standalone system if we are looking into the following areas such as remote villages / schools , remote clinics, SCADA monitoring system, security system, bird nest industry. Our solution uses the following components

  • Solar panels
    These panels are generally categorized as crystalline, thin film or hybrid PV panels. Solar panels convert sunlight into DC power via photovoltaic (PV) effect.
  • Off grid Inverters
    The DC power that is produced from either battery or PV modules are converted into AC power and fed to the load. These types of inverters are independent and will only disconnect to protect the battery from discharging beyond a certain threshold.
  • Mounting Structures
    Mounting structures for the PV modules are usually made out of a variety of materials such as aluminium, stainless steel or galvanized metal depending on installation area, owner’s requirement and method of installation at site.
  • Balance of System
    The other parts that make up a solar PV system includes DC and AC cables, protection devices such as fuses, surge protector and isolator.
  • Battery
    Owners can decide to use wet or dry (maintenance free) type of battery for their installations. These batteries have a lifespan of up to 5 years if in a controlled environment.
  • Charge Controller
    The purpose of this device is to charge the battery at a steady voltage and ensure load is supported. If the battery is almost drained out, the charge controller will ensure the battery health is prolonged by shutting the system down.
  • Generator / Grid
    If a system has an existing generator or an unstable grid, we can merge the system with PV systems to ensure sufficient back up power or reduce the generator running hour to reduce fuel topping up or maintenance.

Stand Alone Street Lights

solar_street_lightGiven the necessary requirements, we are able to design from scratch suitable streetlights suitable for walkway, car parks as well as streetlights for normal roads and highways. Our conventional design uses solar panel, lead acid batteries and charge controllers that operates on DC system.

However, given the potential issues such as theft, we do have a readymade solution with LiFePo4 batteries and controllers BUILT INTO ONE UNIT. These batteries are considered more rugged and can withstand higher outdoor temperature against conventional lead acid batteries. These systems are suitable for walkway with maximum 4m lamp post. The distance and brightness can be adjusted according to customers requirements.

 

Solar Dryers

This solution uses conventional solar heat to dry materials ranging from agriculture to marine products. We are able to design and build the solar dryer using direct or indirect methods. With solar dryers, users are able to speed up the drying process in a controlled environment thus allowing the quality and end product to standardized (texture, taste, colour, moisture content).
